Monthly Membership Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 11:45 a.m. at a local restaurant. The luncheon meeting features interesting guest speakers. Call the Chamber for location.

Business After Hours is a once-a-month "mixer" held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m. at members' businesses. It features hors d'ouevres and drinks and door prizes donated by the member businesses. This is a great opportunity to network in a relaxed social atmosphere.

Board of Directors meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. Call the Chamber for location. All members are welcome to attend these meetings. Agenda items and hand-outs should be submitted to the Director prior to the meeting time.

Special Events include Storytelling Festival co-sponsor, Gold Rush Festival steering committee, Historic Mariposa Spring Festival, Annual Awards Meeting and Installation Banquet, and Businessman/Woman of the Year Recognition Banquet.

In keeping with its mission, the Chamber of Commerce works to assist and promote the businesses of members and participate in the county's activities and events. Some of the activities not mentioned above are to:

Assist businesses with resource information
Compile a county-wide calendar of events
Conduct grand openings for member businesses
Conduct ribbon cutting ceremonies for member businesses
Conduct seminars and workshops
Conduct goal-setting retreats
Host candidate forums for local political races
Install holiday banners along Hwy. 140
Participate in the Economic Development Corporation of Mariposa
Participate in the Welcome to Mariposa open house weekend
Participate in the Mainstreet program
Sponsor Phil Osborn Memorial Scholarship for graduating seniors
Award athletic scholarships to local youth
